Astor Combined Cadet Force

Astor School Combined Cadet Force (CCF) is an RAF only contingent (one of only a few in the South East) allowing young girls and boys aged 13-18 to engage in a range of military themed activities that they would not normally have the opportunity to participate in.

The CCF is a network of units that have a history reaching back over 150 years, based in over 400 secondary schools in the UK delivering experiences that challenge, develop personal responsibility, communication skills, resilience, good citizenship together with leadership and management skills.  Each CCF is an educational partnership between school and Ministry of Defence and may include Royal Air Force, Army and Navy contingents.
